Website architecture + development

The challenge
A group with several divisions was presenting itself as several unrelated businesses. Visitors could not tell what the group did, which division they needed, or how the parts related to each other.
The existing site had grown by addition. Every new service had been appended rather than placed, and the result read as a filing cabinet instead of an organisation with a strategy.
Our thinking
A group website has one job before anything else: make the shape of the organisation obvious. So the architecture came first — group narrative at the top, divisions as clearly defined destinations underneath, and a single consistent way of describing capability across all of them.
Once the structure was settled, the design could be restrained. Scale reads as confidence when the layout is calm.
What we delivered
The result
The group now reads as one organisation with clear divisions rather than a collection of overlapping services. Enquiries arrive at the right division with context, and new divisions can be added without redesigning the site.
