Hosting that is managed, not just sold

Hosting shouldn't besomething you think about.

It should simply work. Fast pages, current software, tested backups and someone paying attention before you notice a problem.

The honest comparison

Cheap hosting is only cheap until it costs you something.

Hosting is sold by the gigabyte, which is a strange way to buy something whose entire job is to protect your revenue. The monthly saving on budget hosting is real. So is the afternoon your enquiry form silently stops working.

Managed hosting is the same website with responsibility attached. Someone applies the updates, watches uptime, keeps the backups restorable and tunes the thing that got slow. That is the whole difference, and it is worth more than the storage.

Why it matters

Hosting built for business. Not just traffic.

Your website is a commercial asset. It should be treated like infrastructure, with the same seven things handled continuously rather than remembered occasionally.

01

Speed

Caching, image discipline and tuned infrastructure — measured, not promised.

02

Reliability

Uptime monitoring with alerts to us, so problems are handled before they spread.

03

Security

Hardened WordPress, SSL, sensible access control and active monitoring.

04

Backups

Scheduled, retained and actually restorable. A backup you cannot restore is a rumour.

05

Monitoring

Uptime, performance and integrity watched continuously.

06

Updates

Core, theme and plugin updates applied and checked, not left to chance.

07

Management

A person who knows your website, rather than a generic ticket queue.

Migration

Moving an existing website across.

We copy your site, test it on a temporary address, check forms, integrations and email records, then switch DNS at a quiet hour. Your old host stays live until we are certain the new one is correct.

No downtime you would notice, no lost content, and a written record of what changed. Migration is included when you move onto a hosting plan with us.

Hosting FAQ

What business owners actually ask.

What makes managed hosting different from cheap shared hosting?

Cheap hosting sells you space on a server and stops there. Managed hosting means someone is responsible for the website: updates get applied, backups get taken and tested, performance is tuned and problems are noticed before you are. You are buying attention, not disk space.

Can you move our existing website across?

Yes. Migration is included and handled outside business hours where possible. We copy the site, test it on a temporary address, check forms and integrations, then switch DNS — so there is no gap in service and nothing gets lost.

Will our website be faster?

Almost always, yes. Most slow WordPress sites are slow because of unoptimised images, too many plugins and no caching layer — all of which we address as part of onboarding rather than selling separately.

What happens if the site goes down?

Monitoring alerts us, not you. We investigate, restore from backup if needed and tell you what happened. Response priority depends on your plan.

Do we still own our website and domain?

Always. Your domain, your hosting account, your content, your code. We manage it on your behalf and you can take it with you.

Is hosting the same as website care?

No. Hosting keeps the site online and fast. Website care covers the ongoing work on the site itself — updates, checks and small changes. Our plans bundle a level of care, and the website care page explains the rest.
